A new RMS software (NMS280) version 3.5 for the RMA1822A board in NORMARC 7000B ILS cabinets has been issued.
The downloadable zip-files contains:

• Document (CI0123) describing the changes to the software
• Document (UILS892) describing how to carry out the upgrade
• Software tool (NMS307) needed to carry out the upgrade
• NMS280 version 3.5 software

Only Normarc 7000B rev.4 delivered from mid 2022 and which suffers from unexplained intermittent maintenance warnings needs to consider upgrading the ILS to RMS software version 3.5

A new feeder board FB 1526D has been developed and taken into use Q4 2022 on the LOC antenna AE 493J.

An error in the built in Shutdown Integrity Test in the RMA 1822A RMS software could lead to a fault in the +27V power relay on the PS 1227 board for transmitter 1, used by the Terminator on the TCA board to remove the voltages to the transmitter, not being detected.

The criticality is removed by using the correct test procedure for the Annual Shutdown Integrity Check. On a long term basis to maintain the flexibility and high integrity of the Normarc 7000B Rev.3 and Rev.4 cabinets a mandatory upgrade of the software on the RMA 1822A boards is required. 

In addition to the Customer Information the download includes Upgrade Procedure document - UILS892 , the NMS307 RMS Update Utility and the new software NMS280 vers. 3.3 for the RMA 18222A board.
This is all documents and software needed to carry out the upgrade.

As some of our customers have experienced problems to download the "CI1421 Complete package.zip" file due to that it contains two exe-files, we have now also provided a password protected zip-fil with the name "CI1421 Complete package.rename_to_zip". This might be easier to download, then rename it to "CI1421 Complete package.zip" and then unpack/open it.
